Nuendo inquiry

When I open up Nuendo now after putting in my new sound card I get an error message that says:

"Samplerate could not be set. This may be due to the sampleclock being set to external sync."

I've been looking everywhere for the sampleclock, I'm still working with this and trying to figure it out. Does anyone know a way to rectify this issue?

It's probably an issue with your sound card software rather than nuendo. Nuendo is pretty picky about ASIO drivers and all that good stuff. Check your software for the sc and see if there is a choice for clock. Set it to internal if possible. That should solve your problems....I think.

You're right, it was a sound card issue. So I was able to rid the program of that error by going into the soundcard control panel and changing the Recording Conversion rate to a notch above "Good". Unfortunately, Nuendo still doesn't seem to be picking up sound when I try to record. Any ideas on this issue?
