Nuendo (Importing Audiofile from Videofile)

Hi.
Im having a problem with Nuendo. Im trying to import only the audio portion of these .mpg/.mpeg files. Basically...I just want the whole audio tracks so I can burn them to a CD. Now...Ive tried messing with all the settings for importing and no matter what I do...it seems like Nuendo is only Importing 2 secs of audio...or maybe I should say...the audio portion of only the first clip in the .mpg files.

Maybe someone can help...my current Preferences>Audio settings are:

Adjust Events when framecount is Modified (Unchecked)
Snap to Zero Crossings (Unchecked)
[Open Options Dialog] on processing shared clips
[Copy and Convert] on Import Audiofile
[50ms] RMS window width
[-50db] Threshold
[Create Events] cycle record mode
[Wave file] record files type

check your markers. i can import the audio from a scary movie2 fine, its much longer than 2sec

That's weird...I just looked at mine to see if i could help you out and mine it only importing 10 sec. of audio from video no matter where the markers are.

If anyone has any ideas, please help us out.

Yeah. I checked my markers....Had no luck whatsoever.

try this 1 open nuendo go 2 file then new project a window should pop up try video mixdown or what ever format ur project is hope this helps u out

Try this:

Use an MPEG stream demultiplexer and then convert the audio file (.mpa or mp2) to a wave and then import it.
