Stu Gort on guitar and background vocals. Tjarko Busink on bass. Stan Brown on slide. Frank Basile on Drums , and me filling in the rest.
Please enjoy!
Really cool kdub. Good sounds on everything and very nice playing by everyone. Nice electric guitar tone.
I enjoyed it man!
Ha ... was it you who tried to track in between the furnace going on and off?
I've got a contractor coming on Monday to remove the drywall on the wall in between my studio and shop. He's going to overstuff it with insulation, install resilient channel and then apply 5/8" drywall. That and a solid weather door ought to enable me to track in this room...without having to wait for summer.
Well done! I like the lead guitar tones plenty, and the drummer has that shit on lock.
I like the background vocals in verse two. Tune has a Grateful Dead feel to it.
When the whole band kicks in around :46 it sounded great. I wouldn't have minded it happening even sooner. But bringing in the rhythm section (plus keys) at once like that after a longish intro is big and perhaps has more impact. I was not let down. Guitar solos were great. Could maybe be a tad louder even. Drums are indeed tight. Right on Frank.
I was impressed both by the musicianship and the clarity of this.

Hehe...I'm always telling him that.![]()
