Novation X-Y Pads

Does anyone own a Novation synth or controller with an X-Y Pad on it?
How is the response of the X-Y Pad??

I just purchased a Novtion REMOTE 25LE controller with the X-Y Pad on it and I REALLY have to press on it hard to get a response. I own a Numark mixer with an X-Y effects pad on it int he past and hard had to press on it at all to get a response, but this thing I have to press hard and I have to keep the pressure constant or it loses the placement of my finger.
 
Ditto, and I don't believe there is any sort of sensitivity setting available for the X/Y pad. You might try reinstalling driver's. If this doesn't help, I'd send it back and get a replacement.
 
I actually just went to a music store and tested out an X-Station. Supposedly, novation told me all the X-Y pads on their products function the same. I used the X-Y pad on the X-Station it was much more sensitive to the touch than mine. I still had to apply a little pressure, but I didnt have to seriously push it. So I guess I'll have to send it back. I hate doing that though, you lose out on the shipping plus you have to wait for a new one to come...bummer
