So, I have all this stuff, some of which is in transit (and will hopefully arrive!)

Please take a look and tell me what more I should have to complete my home studio! I am naturally looking for a set of active nearfields, but anything else I should have???

For vocals you may want to invest in a large condenser mic like the SP C1, Marshall V 67, or AT 3035.


You'll may eventually want to upgrade your preamp, although I hear the Audiobuddy does a fine job. How about the RNP to go along with your RNC? I'm sure that would be a sweet combo.

Get some good cables if you don't already have them.

What are you going to use for software?
 
pretty nice setup,

one thing essential missing is a pair of monitor speakers.
 
As for Software, the jury is still out. I guess whatever is available at the time when I get it all setup.

Regarding monitors, all I know is that I want Active. I do not want to mess about with a separate amp.

The LD mic is on my shopping list. Haven't settled on anything yet. Mostly I am buying used in order to keep the cost down, so it is always a question of what is available rather than what I want.
