I know, I guess I am doing something against the code of conduct , but I really don't care any more.
So I am just going to make it public, and you be the judge, or what ever you (who ever reads this) may make out of it.
Heres my reply on PM I've just received from DRAGON.

Dragon, I would not blame anyone for not understanding, but please, would you give me at least couple of examples where I EVER insulted anybody on any board in any post. If I ever may get somewhat "personal" it would be ONLY as a response.
And after all it's your boards, you are the judge.

If someone cant take a little slight in imaginaryland then they should go and tell their daddy.

This is to Dragon, as I wish to go on record, as someone who's been a regular member of this forum for 7 years with over 4,500 posts, that it would be a great INJUSTICE if you even entertain banning Dr. Zee. He's one of the most talented, smart and poetic voices around. His posts, often times, are indirect and contain powerful insights, something which may be misunderstood by some. Don't hang a man as the result of the ignorance of a few.

Dr. Zee insults people? When, where and in what context? You say that you've "waded through dozens of them [Dr. Zee's posts]" and admit that you cannot "understand" his "train of thought most of the time" and that "all the rest seems to be insults" and "that" you can understand. Dragon, if you do not understand Dr. Zee's "train of thought" then how can you claim "insults" within them?

I can decipher Dr. Zee's posts without problem and many respected others on this board can do that as well (sometimes within degrees of success) but one thing's for sure, that Dr. Zee's style is often times challenging but contents are always fascinating and very perceptive. He's an artist and a very smart individual.

Dr. Zee's personality may be challenging to some but for God's sake, don't hang a man because some prick can't understand him and would rather complain. Was I insulting now? Maybe I should be banned?:rolleyes:

I typically blink a few times before I start to get a sense of what ZEE is posting, but its usually worth the effort on my part. I've read enough over the years to know that if I don't understand what he's saying it because of a difference in communication style and not that there is no meaningful content.

And I've met many New Yorkers who were a LOT more rude. :shrug:
 
Dr Zee is OK

Dr Zee speaks indirectly and if youtake the time to think about what he says it is insightful. I don't recall him being insulting.
 
We're analog recordists, and that's with a capital "A" sometimes.

We're generally rough around the edges, and we're very opinionated.

I think that these personality traits can be confused as insultating, but I honestly believe there's more comradery on this forumn than any other on this board.

If he wants to be some sort of mystical moron for his fan club- the CAVE is a great place to do that.

But this game in the Analog forum is obstructive toward those seeking meaningful and helpful information, and therefore destructive toward what Dragon has built here.

DR with all due respect I find calling anyone a "Mystical Moron" insulting.

I note that outside of your analog only posts of the last few days and 2 or 3 other posts the vast majority of your last 500 posts have been in the cave. Analog only is not the cave.

Let's take a look at a few more of your insults:

I DISAGREE WHOLE-HEARTEDLY!!!!........... The ZEE Man IS a little "out there" But I'm glad he is.... At least he is NOT boring. I will say one must defintely have some imagination when reading some of his posts!. I certainly haven't had much trouble understanding him..... He has been MOST helpful in answering many of my questions. I would HONESTLY rate ZEE in my top 5 most helpful people on here!!! He has taken the time and effort to respond in FULL detail to my questions with lengthy personal messages. I can't say the same for others. I've even had one guy tell me not to PM him. Very stupid. Like he was insulted that I PM'd him with a question. How DARE I? Very, very stupid. I don't remember ZEE insulting anyone either. And if he has ,they probably deserved it. And so what if ZEE Brags a little. At least he has the skills and knowledge to do so. Think of ALL the people out there that Brag when they have no talent, skills or knowledge at all. I see and hear them everyday!!! I support ZEE and he should most denfinitely NOT be banned!!!

You have the right to your opinion but many here, including yours truly, wholeheartedly disagree. What right do you have to call someone a "moron"? Dr Zee didn't cross any line. In fact, you did, coming on here and having it in for him from the very begining, it seems.

Dr. Zee isn't a trouble maker but on occassion, people such as yourself, who hardly ever post in the analog only forum (actually I have never before seen you on here), nor have any idea of each member's background and history, like to start fights, to get a rise out of that someone, for whatever reason and then blame and run.

We don't need people such as yourself policing the AO forum, 'cause we are and have been doing fine for a long, long time. If you wish for "meaningful and helpful information", then how about providing some yourself? Dr. Zee sure as hell has done that, many a time, since he became a member in 2005. What he has to offer is every bit relevant to the Analog Only forum and it seems only you wish to push it to the CAVE level.

Whatever problem you have with Dr. Zee is your own and we don't share it.

Ha that's funny... I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure many others on here were too! Not that new people can't come to the AO forum, but it's like ... "Where did this guy come from all of the sudden?" Ha.:eek: Yeah, we probably don't hear from him much because he might be a CAVE-dweller. I think I went to the CAVE one time and wasn't interested. Most if not all of the posts reminded me of Beavis and Butthead. Ha, what garbage.
