Not getting any playback in Sonar 4

Well I got a delta 44 and I got sonar 4 and when i press record, I dont hear myself playing...I have got the Playback Timing master on M-Audio Delta ASIO Analog 1/2 Delta 44 and Record Timing master on M-Audio Delta ASIO Analog in 1 Delta 44[1]
When I record it picks up the guitar and all but I just cant hear myself playing through the headphones!
What could the problem be?
 
i havent used sonar in years...but on the tracks in the edit window there is usually a button on each track for input monitoring...find it
 
Yeah, it's on the actual track view. There's a button with a couple of arrows or whatever. Click that.

However, that introduces latency. You can directly monitor an input without latency with the Delta cards using the Delta control panel.
