Not enough diskspace/memory to freeze midi?

When I freeze midi in the vst intruments window a message comes up like "not enough diskspace" and something more. My computer has 1gb ram, 13 gb drivespace left and its a pentium 4.

Why can´t i freeze a simple keyboard, coming with cubase (3)?

Where's your temp space and is there enough space on that drive?
