Not all MXL V67g's are green?

Maybe it's oker then... though I have to admit, it still looks kinda orangey to me.

Any mics out there in lavender? That would compliment my red pop filter ever so nicely :D

Just looked at the side of a early V67g box. The pictures on the side show three of them ~ one green, one black and one in natural metal (no paint) or chrome? it's hard to tell.

I like the color of Avant microphones, Avantone!

I think there's a company called "violet microphones".
Someone needs to come out with a mic with motorcycles and lightning bolts painted on it for heavy metal!

Actually, a B.L.U.E. Bluebird isn't that far off from lavender. Add just a hint of red, and it's there.-Richie

Actually, those are already out there! Some of those harmonica mic people take an old bullit mic and do a custom paint job, swap capsules, body kit, suede interior, rims, you name it... like watching an episode of "Pimp My Mic". :D

A mic with rims? Actually I'm surprised they don't have robot mics that can move around. That would be pretty awesome. If you could program it to move to pickup certain things, like a singer who moves around or something.

Now that's an idea!!! Perfect microphone positioning every time!!! From your DAW to a mechanical arm/micstand.

Nah, I tend to spice up a story. :drunk: No suede interiors either I'm afraid.

Yeah, with a automated "sweet spot finder" function. Though this might get you in trouble with female artists around the studio.
