Im a hardcore newbie and I bascially want to be able to take the tapeouts from my four UB502 mixers and record on seperate channles into my PC.
What soundcards would someone recommend that's not too pricy?
I've been using my Santa Cruz soundcard just for messing around with, and it works, but only one channel.
Im totally new to this stuff and ultimaltey that's what I want to do.
If it has more that four channels that would even be better.
Also Is it possible to record on all four channles at the same time.
I have Cool Edit and Pro Tools, Which is better>?
We want to be able to all jam at the same time and listen to the output via headphones while we are recording, is this possible?
Or am I thinking wrong.
Someone smack me upside the head and set me straight so I can get the music out of my head and onto CD's
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalp.
