What's up everybody, I got a stupid question which I probably already know the answer too, but I have a Samson CO1U Condenser MIC & it is USB as you all know. Now, for buying an upgraded sound card, I really want to buy an external one such as the M-Box, but i was wondering about hooking my MIC into an external card, does any external sound cards have the support for a USB MIC? Is there any adapters to hook the USB into a "general" mic input or whatever, thats where I lost, I was just going to buy the M-Audio Audiophile 2496, but like I said, I would rather an external instead of PCI, and as you all know too, the CO1U doesn't have to be phantom powered.

Thank You all very much!

Nope!
Once you get yourself a soundcard, the Samson will be obsolete.
Great for Skype, pod casting, spare PC but not into any other soundcard that I'm aware of.
Keep in mind that your soundcard transfers audio to digital as does your Samson or any other USB mic.
I keep a USB mic on the family PC.
