A year or so back, I was lucky enough to find a complete set of 60's slingerlands in the garbage. I have yet to determine exactly what color the set is done in. I was wondering if you all could help. The closest match I could find would be a mix between a "mardi gras" finish and a "champagne sparkle". The base color is a black finish, and over this there are a lot of silver sparkles. It's a pretty vague description, but maybe one of you all is a slingerland afficienado. Hope you can help

All I've ever seen that wrap refered to as is "Black Sparkle" - even older Slingerlands. Sorry, probably doesn't help much.....

I'm not too sure about this but I seem to remember a finish called: "confetti" . This is during the early 60's. The base finish was black with different colored speckles? I'm not sure if the colors were all the same or all a different mixture of colors. Later...Den
