My Fostex digital 8-track used to shut down arbitrarily for a few hours or so--just refuse to turhn on. Now it has not turned on in 24 hours--any suggestions? (Yes I've checked all crods, etc.)
How does it get power? AC or DC adapter/wall wart, or AC/DC direct from the unit to the wall? If it uses a wall wart, test to see if there is any voltage with a multimeter.
Ah, drag. Really hard to say. If it's under warranty, bring it in. If not, sounds like you need to bring it to a qualified repair person anyway. Unless someone else here knows of a quirky solution to this.
