I've tried reinstalling the sound card, and removing and then reinstalling the Windows multimedia stuff in Add Remove/Windows Set-up. Actually I've tried these several times and 25 other things that I can't even remember now. No matter what I do I can't get a midi check box to appear in the W95 Mixer Recording Properties Devices field.
I've searched MS tech supportbut no help there. Anybody think I need to reinstall Windows 95? I wouldn't mind avoiding that.
I'm new at this (as you may have guessed) and have an Ensoniq Audiopci card and Power Tracks Pro Audio. The latter allows you to record midi as wav but instructions assume that midi is available as a recording source.
Sorry to bug you folks with this tedious question but I'd sure appreciate some advice.
Thanks,
Jeff
