I think the composition itself has plenty of potential. It's just incredibly boring when you go nearly seven minutes with just piano and singing.

It's no composition of Chopin or Liszt; try adding some stuff.

Other than that, I think it sounds pretty good.

I like it. A few of the parts are very intense and emotional. The mix balance sounds good to me as well.

Thank you very much! I followed you on soundcloud, too!

Sounds better with strings. The piano can be a little overpowering at times.

I agree. I'm going to take down the piano a bit tonight, bring the volume up on the beginning (as it is too soft in comparison to the rest), and maybe bring the strings up a little. I was thinking of making the strings (the higher pitched ones) alternate a little, what do you think of that? I want a disjointed feel, as that's how the whole experience felt, but I don't want to push it too much. Overall I think the strings help bring it out. Do you have any other suggestions? Wind instruments (I'm thinking no, but figured I'd ask!). I was thinking of making the strings trill a bit in the second heavy part ("I don't wanna see them die"). But, other than that, I can't think of anything else. Definitely open to more suggestions, and really appreciate the help so far!
Thanks,
Chris

Would really love some more feedback, it would be much appreciated!
