Is there a best "Drums for Dummies" option out there? Software or Hardware?

I've heard that people get decent (but not great) results from Fruity Loops...

I have a yamaha keyboard that I use, if one of them is available to you, you might want to look into it...

Akai MPC1000- See if guitar center has any cheep demos. They are incredibly user friendly somewhat inexpensive and has endless possibilities for creativity.

Well I bought beatcraft and though using it IS easy, it's not staying in time. The song is 114, so it says, and I set it to 114 but after about 20 seconds you can hear the beatcraft track drop behind the original track.

Is there a way to add 1/2-1/2-3/4 time on top of the 114?

i use Redrum in Reason Adapted with my own drum sounds that i got from Beta Monkey Drum Works V. it comes out pretty good most of the time.
