NI's Guitar Rig 5 vs. a Real Amp (Fender Hot Rod deluxe III or something?)

I own NI's GR5, and I'm sort of torn about living with it, or picking up a used Fender or another amp for studio work.

anybody got any suggestions?

If you can record an amp at loud levels, a real amp is definitely preferable.

In any case, for software amp sims, I would recommend S-Gear 2. It sounds much better than any other amp sim out there IMO, and it is pretty cheap.
