Quilted and Flamed.

Actually here is the difference. Know you all will be able to tell. Flamed looks more uniformed, liked a rippled sheet. Quilted is more random and less seen. Here are some great photos that show the difference:

Ah yes, quilted vs. flamed.

Now I see the difference. Thanx for the info! BTW, cool guitars!

Oh yeah, way back,...

Remember when I said, "I have like 16 new and like-new guitars, but I just play my oldest guitar, the Ibanez Blazer"?

Well, here's a pic of the Blazer. I don't have a pic of my entire collection, of both guitars and basses. Maybe I'll take a pic of my entire collection, someday.;)

Now, if I could only learn to play! Haha. I don't have a girlfriend.;)

this is my Gibson acoustic. It was a gift from a good friend and had been refinished and had designs painted on it at one point. She sounds awesome though. I'm not sure what year it is though.

Fangar,

Thanks for posting those pics...........they illustrated perfectly what I was trying to explain..........I just wasn't organised enough to have pics on hand to post:)

Because the guys in my son's band are virtually "family" and they rehearse here a couple of times a week, their gear is sometimes here for months at a time..........I must take a photo sometime of ALL the gear including mine...........there is something like 20 guitars and basses, plus amps, keyboard, etc.............this studio/room can look like a music shop:D

Yeah,...

that teardrop shaped electric looks cool.;)

>> ausrock, that's virtually identical to something I almost posted , just earlier, but edited out! ... only I was gonna say "Guitar Center". Funny,... you know what they say,...

great minds think alike!;)

Downside,

Awesome looking guitar................I'll stick to my "turquoise" one........even though red ones go faster, the greeny/blue is always COOL looking:D

Eggles, with their ability to switch from humbucker to various single coil combinations, their build quality using mahogany, maple and ebony, etc., are really an underestimated guitar.

BTW.......I'm getting used to my REV5 and loving it.........thanks for the advice re that unit.:)

Ok, I can one up you on the ugly factor. Actually this was a great guitar. A USA BC Rich custom shop. Called the "party graphic". I sold this on EBAY about 8 months ago to a guy that plays in an 80's glam band. He loved it.
