...just thought I'd pass along a what I thought was a good deal on a microphone isolator...yeah I know you can rig up something similar for cheap (I had a $35 PVC tubing and movers blanket rig before) but now that they have added a very nice quality heavy duty stand with the isolator (for free) I believe this is a great deal...I have also used the SE version at a friend's studio, but I prefer the flexibility of this unit's adjustable side panels to the more rigid (heavy and cumbersome) SE Reflexion Filter...
...some vendors like Musicians Friend are now asking $249 with the free stand but I got mine at B&H Photo for the original price of $219 shipped with the free stand (Zzounds is also honoring the old price)...the added stand is no cheapo lightweight boom stand of the $20 variety...it's a much more heavy duty stand designed to accommodate the "Mic Thing" and it extends much taller than the typical inexpensive stand...
...if interested, check it out:

...and it does work rather well if you're recording in an untreated room as I am...the singers that have been in my home studio were impressed and I believe it gave them a bit more confidence to "step up & deliver" than my old PVC/blanket rig did...your results may differ, of course, IMHO...
