Myriad_Rocker said:Just buy a freakin' SM57.
Or even better, get a Sennheiser e-609s
EDAN said:Not everyone can afford a 57. As cheap as they are to some of us, $90 bucks is alot for some people. I can't vouch for the ES-57, but it seems everything I've read from people who own or have tried them is positive, and at a third the price if I were on a budget it would be a no brainer, in fact I'm not on a budget and I might pick one up.
Ps. I own many high end mics and my all around fav is a $79 (now they are $99) SP B-1. I don't care about price or name brand, I use what sounds best to me, sometimes it's a name brand and sometimes it's not.
Myriad_Rocker said:No excuse. 57's can be had for very cheap in the used market.
