Newbie Question on editing

Hey all

I'm fairly new when it comes to sound editing. In my recordings I get what I call a "PC sound". In the live recording this dose not happen.
Any way I can make it sound much cleaner? am I making an scene?

What instruments are you recording? Real instruments or sims?
What interface do you have to connect your instruments to your PC?
