Hey I am new to Sonar and not familier with it too much.

My first project consisted of taking some music that I recorded on my Fostex Digital Multi-Tracker, I transfered to the computer analog, and putting it togather with the drum part I made in reason. I exentually got the two parts synced togather but it took fore ever. I exported the drum part in reason as a .wav and imported it to Sonar. I then had to manually put them togather. It took forever.

Is there a faster way for me to sync up my different parts that I record into the computer?

What soft synths are imcluded with SONAR and how do I use them?
If so is it familier with REason?

What are some things I can do togather with Reason and SONAR?

Is there an online newbie FAQ or just tutorial made by users, the book is just so hard to understand?

Any help is much apreciated. THANK YOU

Not that I can think of. Can the Fostex recieve MIDI-clock?

Softsynths included? Cyclone, Dreamstation, Edirol Virtual Sound Canvas, and if you have the XL version: DR-008.

To insert them, click View -> Synth Rack (or click the icon). In the new window that pops up, click the star and select whatever synth you like. Then hit ok (with "Make Midi source track" and "First Output Audiotrack" enabeled). Off you go...

But as you surely know, this is all well documented in the manual.

You can sync Sonar and Reason via ReWire. Using the method described for DXI, just select ReWire -> Reason.

The manual is, in my opinion, easy to understand and all the basics are described there. If you can read this post, then you can read the manual. (But manuals are boring)
