OK...here is the deal... At the radio staion I work for we use a hardware/software package call "REELLOGGER" to skim our airwaves 24/7. Problem is that it records in ".ra" format. One hour per file.

Occassionally I need to dub portions of out on-air output to CD for an advertiser or agency. Right now I have to put in a "skim" request to our Opps Department to skim the particular time to DAT and then have them dub it to CD or tape.

It would be sooooo easy if I could find a program that would bring up pur REELOOGER files, convert them to .wav or some other mp3 format, edit the section I need out of the file, save it to hard disk and burn it to CD.

QUESTION: Anyone know of a (cheap) program that will let me do this?

Like I said...Newbie needs help!

Thanks!

Isn't .ra Real Audio Files? I don't know of a program that will open them other then Real Audio but you might try a search on Google.

If that is not the right file and you dont get an answer here you might try www.prosoundweb.com or Rec.audio.pro on Google.
