hi everyone. i just got 2 bass traps that measure 3' in length 2' in width and 5'5" deep. for best results do these go flush with the ceiling where all corners meet? my other question is that i have a roland v drum kit and i was wondering can it be placed behind my workstation and the wall or is it best to not have anything behind your workstation and the wall in front of you? thank you .

I'd put em 45 degrees in the L/R corners in front of your desk if you have nothing there already. Otherwise flush on the wall at the 1st reflection points. The biggest ones would go in the corners if you have more than those 2.

I have tons of crap in my mixing room, including a big vdrum kit (bc it's the same as my tracking room :D) no problems. I'm not an acoustics pro but if anything I think that'll help diffuse sound more, break up modes and standing waves or whatever the hell.
