Hi
I am a newbie...Bought some gear on recommendation from the pro audio guy at guitar center.

I bought a delta 44 sound card. I bought cakewalk sonar 3.11, i bought tascam gigastudio 96. Also I bought a mixing board Eurorack by behringer.
I have no clue how to hook them up all together. I have a mic i want to put into the mix, when i tried all i could get was sound in one ear. I alsotried to record vocals to a track, but got the sound of the other instruments in it as well. I am totally new at this, could somebody please helpppppppppppp?
thanks

dude, read the gear's instructions... FIRST OF ALL:::

then when you know what to use each for, you may be able to hook up them together...

Mic to input of mixer
trim for pre-amp...watch your meters
set to stereo output
output of mixer to input delta44
setup track as a stereo or mono track (your choice)
track each track individually as to not get bleedover
practice a bunch
you've got plenty to learn

Thanks

thanks stealth tech, being a new comer isn't always fun...Ive read many posts and see that some people reply to posts because it makes them feel good to make someone else look like an idiot...Your suggestion worked great! I suppose I would have gotten it eventually, but every second i waste could be making music!
Thanks again! Johnny

thanks
