Hello,
As you can see I am newly registered and will be grateful for any help I can get on this forum. Hopefully I will be able to return some in the future as I get more experienced.
I am setting up a home recording studio with basically two principles:
- avoid a computer as long as possible, except maybe for digital recording and transfer to CD, mp3.
- any gear (effect units, mixers, reverbs/delays, etc should fit into a rack not to consume too much floorspace/desktop.
I now have this Fostex MC102multitrack mixer/cassette-recorder and have a hard time finding any information about this unit. When googling a few threads came up in this forum, where people claim to have this unit.
Questions:
Would someone please point me to a downloadable manual for the Fostex MC102?
Is it possible to record several tracks on this unit and use it as a porta (e.g 4channels?) adding one track at a time?
