newbe midi question

I do not have a midi keyboard so i'm using the edirol plugin with the piano roll view.The edirol shows 16 "parts" but i can only use the first one.I can "test" the sound of others and change the instuments but i dont know how to patch the tracks to the piano roll.

Im using HS2004.
Any help would be appreciated

On each MIDI track there is a "channel" selection (1-16). Each channel corresponds to the same channel in the Edirol VSC.

If you set a MIDI track to channel one, it will use the instrument patched to #1 in the Edirol.

Of course, make sure the outputs of the MIDI tracks are set to the Edirol.
