New to the forums...and an extreme NEWBIE at home recording.
Well, I've been reading some stuff now, and I'm wondering if I messed up by buying the Audigy2. I bought it mostly because of the ability to record in 24/96, and the supposed quality of the Crystal 24/196 DACs it uses. It supports ASIO2, and I have the breakout box with all the I/Os as well.

So far, it seems to work fine, after I upgraded to the drivers on the web, but can anyone explain why people say "stay away from Creative"? I'm just curious...will the quality of my recordings be that much inferior to other cards? Should I try to sell this card and get something else more "pro"?
