newb monitor mono question

Hey everyone...
I am running my bass thru a sansamp di, into a delta 44. I know I am missing something...

I am trying out ableton le right now, and when I record my bass I am only getting the signal in/out to one channel (mono). There must be a way to hear the instrument in both monitors or both R L headphones. Please help!!!

Set it up so you are listening to the returned audio from the computer, not to the input.

That should solve your problem.

Thanks, but...How do I do that? Is there something that needs to be checked within the m-audio mixer preferences?
