G'day,
I would love some critical feedback on a couple of songs i've just finished doing rough mixes of if anyone gets the chance?
The tunes i'd love feedback on (whether it be mixing, arrangement or anything that comes to mind) is 'The Wednesday Song' and 'Spinning Gold' which are on my myspace page www.myspace.com/mattburke5
On the weds song I know i've butchered the bass intro (guitar lowered an octave) as it is noisy as and i'm guilty as charged as trying to add some distortion to cover the crappniess.....
Note spinning gold's drums are computerised on one track so I can't really ajust the drum mix itself......
Gear: (I'm sure you probably could have guessed by now
)
SM 57, Samson C0100 or something condenser.... > Behri 1202FX mixer, > motherboard's inbuilt soundcard.....Mixed etc in Audition 2.0.....Monitoring with computer speakers........Hopefully will be upgrading the gear soon if I can save enough money...At the moment its 'all about the music' haha......
Anyways any tips would be warmly welcomed and much appreciated.....
Cheers,
Matt
