or what about layering another sample with a filter and automate the res, bringing it right up to the start of the tune the cutting it of?? that may be interesting

Cool tune Pete!
The guitar on the right seems to be a bit loud in the verses, but really that's a small nit. Very catchy and a nice clean electronic sound.
Nice listen!

Thanks Joey,

Greg noticed that too, gonna smooth/balance that out. Thanks!

Sure Keith whatever you think would work best we could try. Also do you have any approx. EQ settings that give a more "wet" sound. I'm a bit careful about really drastic EQing unless I know from experience it works. I think I can also handle using another sample/track and blending the sounds.

Very interesting and well done PDP. The bit I want to change is the bass, it sounds boxy and I want it to have more slam/agro top.

I'll have a look, I changed the sample during the mix, the one I had was worse, I'm gonna spend more time on the bass. Thanks!

to be honest with you Ive listened to it a couple of times and it sounds way better to me. Maybe just tackling the guitar level would be a done deal if it was mine...maybe a clicking kick layered in my sound a bit better as well but I think Im nit picking

I think its a pretty good mix/sound as is
