The not fountain head
I used my new Yamaha CP-20 Electronic Piano and a guitar wah pedal to create the main sample... Worked out pretty nicely, I think...

Thanks for listening!!

P.S. Yo BeatsBuy.. I kinda lifted your double clapping idea and modified it... Hope you don't mind...

Oh yeah.. I'd like to get Outkast and Lil John on this one.. lol

From another site:

it sounds way too electronic- like midi keyboards and stuff

i'd scrap those drums and hihats, because they sound just like drum kits from a midi keyboard. get some more gritty percussion in there

Here's my reply:

I agree with you... to a certain extent... I mean.. Listen to Nas's Stillmatic... There are some smiliar sounding drums (In my opinion), that work just fine...

either way...

Could I use some processing technique to bring the existing drums to life? This song is sequenced in Reason 2.5 and ReWired into Pro Tools M-Powered 7....

So I was thinking about using that "Scream 4 Sound Destruction Unit" to get 'em into shape..mabye with some well placed reverb..... I am all for switching out the drums for new ones.. However, it would be cool to do something like this...

Any thoughts?

Feelin the vibe... funky.. like the elements in the beat...
mix needs a little tlc....

feelin your style..

Ok so here is some of my personal opinion. The main groove is pretty good, but you need to take it somewhere. The beat just kind of wonders around and never really does anything. I actually noticed that about alot of your tracks bro. You definately have talent, just keep at it and work on your structure.

Thanks all... I'll keep at it.. It's an obsession.. :D
