Thanks very much Fed! :)

I make no pretense of being an expert, but I'm happy to give what advice I can.. :)

How Did I miss this???

Man...what can I say? I've got you CRANKED in the headphones (Dewpoint) and it sounds GREAT...(need a singer?) hehehe...I'm gonna' go find "Aimee," which is a song I love so much that I've butchered it every single time I've played live for the past decade. (actually spelled my daughter's name "Jaimee" as a small tribute)...BUT BACK TO YOU! I must say, the drums sound flipping incredible. Those are real? Wow.

Okay, I'll be back.

Where's Aimee?

Hey man...enjoying the hell out of the 1977 material. Sounds better than what I recorded last august.

Where's the Aimee link Participant mentioned?

chris,

Amie link.... don't be thrown off by the lack of cowbell :)

(SNL skit, BTW Llarion ;))

Thanx Chad:

And thanx L for posting that...(wherever it is :D).

Quick trivia question: Who's the monster guitar player laying down all those cool acoustic parts in the original Pure Prairie League song?

(no internet cheating)

Well, they are real in the sense that they are played in realtime, but they are not my acoustic kit, but Roland V-Drums (the little entry level kit)... Still very expressive though... Want me to cut a part?

Amie is down a little bit on the main page of my site, near the bottom...

Participant,
I figured it had to be something like that, though I confess that I do not recognize the skit; I haven't watched SNL since Miller left... :D

Hey, just want to say that you are good in your critiques on tunes of others .... :) thank you

"Nice gentle tension/release effect in the C section that precedes the key change."

Thanks Rick! And Fed too! Say Fed, what part of Upstate NY are you from? I'm a Syracuse native...

Heh, yeah...

Ahh, yes, Rochester... Home of one of my strongest and earliest influences, Chuck Mangione... fond memories of playing at Kodak corporate events an the occasional wedding, and sad memories of finances preventing my attending Eastman...

Sorry for the *boink*

But this thread is locking my machine and not showing the 2nd page of posts, hopefully this fixes it...

I don't know that paticular artist but there is alot of music going on here ... everyone says Eastman is pretty prestigious school but I don't know about that there is also Hockstine (sp?) ...
