I've been viewing this forum for quite awhile now and have found it very informative. I been playing music and recording some of it since the60's on some very primitive systems, starting with an old sony 530 w/ built in speakers and using an outboard passive mixer; still have the tapes. Also used an old Wollensac? mono machine.
After a lay off of 30 years started again with a home cassette with mic inputs for rehearsals to catch ideas. Now I'm up to a Tascam 424Mk111 & 688with a 2340 and aTeac 4010SU in reserve. Really have been learning alot from reading here and starting to come up with better and better stuff. Each new project gives me ideas for the next and now I have done a few things for others. Thanks for listeneing and will start asking questions soon--Carp
