New to Cubase

I'm very new to all this home recording and have a question about setting up an input for my Samson Q1U USB microphone to Cubase. Is this done under vst connections? If it is, Cubase isn't finding it, I guess. Or is this done somewhere else? I get the mic to work with Vegas and Audacity and Windows movie maker, but can't get it to work with Cubase SX 3.1.1 or even Audition 2.0. I'm guessing I just havn't figured out how to connect it within those programs. Anyone, got any info? Sure would appreciate it.

i think your looking for device setup.... should be in the same general pull down menu...

I have tried there also and can't seem to find it there either....I'm stumped.

Get the Pro Tools TDM Setup. Save up around $20,000 for the core. And later save up around $250,000 for D-Command, and then around $350,000 for the D-Control.

I've heard several reports of people being unable to get these Samson USB mic's to work in Cubase.

So I can't offer any help Sorry mate

Try changing the ASIO drive is all I can offer
