Hi, Ive been using an adat machine with an alesis mixer for recording but a friend of mine has been raving about the TC Electronics Impact Twin which im seriously considering using.
The thing is ive never used a audio interface to computer setup for recording and im in need of some help.
It sounds like all im going to need is mics, mic cables, an impact twin and a computer, which is great except at one point i will want to record at least 8 tracks simaltaniously.
The question is can use a mixer with the impact twin without effecting the sound?
Also, if any of you have used the Impact Twin could you tell me what you think of the sound and is there any thing else i should consider before using this kind of setup? (Audio interface to computer)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve
