I have been trying to use these effects in Cubase. While the work they also add lots of noise. No particular effect. If i choose no effects my track is clean as a whistle. Once I apply one I get all kinds of noise.
I have plenty of ram (1gig) a fast hardrive (7200) and otherwise dont have any problems. I am beginning to think that the only way to master my tracks is to go outboard with my effects. Is there some setting I may have missed? Anyone else getting this kind of noise?

Can you describe the kind of noise and is it the same regardless of what effect you are using?

For me, the plug in's just do what they are supposed to. I do not notice any sounds that is not supposed to be there.

Sounds like static

I have been told that it goes away when the tracks are mastered. I have noticed that the couple of songs that I have mastered dont have the noise. It is very distracting while trying to edit the tracks and have wondered if there is some way to eliminate the static sound while tracking.
