I love funky stuff...the cheers/applause after the first couple bars sounded canned,or heavily edited, by the way....but whether or not this was a live set, it sure had some sweet playing....over all, though, a fuller bass sound might be cool...but that's just my preference probably....the mix was real nice.....gibs

That one got Marilyn, my Jumbo Blonde Epiphone EJ-200, out of her case and screaming! It needs some more scronky funky rhythm chords blasting out of the rhythm guitar. My version ain't ready for prime time but I did "fish" out a few wonderful inversions that just get me jumping up and down.
Thanks, man.
I'm a big AWB and Wild Cherry fan from way back!

great dance stuff...perfect bar band stuff. Good solid playing, good solos, etc. The applause at the beginning IS too fake sounding. Great wah gtr. Maybe a little repetitive on the riff, but that's funk, I guess... good job.

alright, you busted me on the applause, this IS a live cut,did over a weekend in a local club here in tulsa.the version on the mp3 is from friday nightwhen ,unfortunately, very few people showed up to see this kick ass band.the applause is from the same club, same band, but saturday night, when we had a much better crowd.thanks for the compliments.i think i amgoing to go back and work on the applause a little bit,i noticed it too when i got up fresh this morning and listened to it again

Chunky-Funky-Monkey.... that was some groovin' stuff, dude!
Doc is right, though.. it could use some "wauka-wauka" in the upper frets. Still in all, it's a real good tune! ;)

Yeah, man ...

Love da funk! You guys are good. Great groove.
Cool tune ... I especially liked the groove on the organ.
I liked the applause at the beginning! Made it sound like a party! ... :)
The kick drum seemed a little muffled to me ... Try to boost a little at 2-3kHz and 100Hz and cut around 400-450Hz. I wish the snare was just a bit louder. Guitar seems slightly out of tune ... really just at the beginning, though. Everthing else sounds good.
Nice work!
Thanks
