This is my first song with vocals. I did all the instruments and my friend did the vocals. I would like to get feedback more on the mixing and stuff cause this is the first song I've recorded/mixed with vocals, any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks

The drums are out of phase and way back. The singer has a very pleasant voice, pitch is dead on, could use a touch of comp.
The distorted guitar at the end is kind of out of place. You don't ever hear that in tunes so it's a little strange, hangs
out there like the proverbial matzo ball.

Thanks for the feedback, but how are the drums out of phase? I have some slight reverb on them and I can probably add some comp to them and turn them up because they are kind of quiet like you said

Beautiful song! The vocals seem to stand out on top of everything too much (but fyi, I'm more of a music guy than a vocal guy). Cymbals need to stay the level they are and the rest of the drums should be brought up to that level. I think the distorted guitar adds a lot and brings the whole song together but it needs to be mixed in with the rest of the music better... maybe if you brought the drums up it would solve that too. the song without the build up at the end wouldn't be the same song.

Don't know why your rep is red Chicken, who did you piss off?.

This is a good singer. I would get her as dry as possible and back off from there. The reverb is killing it.

Thanks for all the input, and I didn't piss anyone off. I was in the cave, and someone did it as a joke and I guess they forgot to change it back

Also I fixed some stuff, Here is the new version: http://db.tt/7MKScLL
I overhauled the drums, changed some compression settings and EQ. As far as the vocals, I tried putting less reverb but it sounded weird

Not bad for a first attempt. The higher frequencies of the guitar (around 3K) seem to be really drowning out the vocalist. The drums are really bright, too. With a voice as good as the singer has, ya wanna make that the focal point. This song seems to be doing the exact opposite. Guitars are bright around 3k, and the drums are sizzly.... Tame everything else and bring up the vocals. A bit too much reverb on the vocals, too.
