New song - Unnoticable You

Vocals reminded me of Starsailor - in a good way - you're up there with the pros. Maybe tuning slightly out in places, but nothing significant.

Yes - too many high freq - everything else will probably make more sense once you have sorted that out. Don't bother doing any special EQ for mp3s unless you are recording in a 24-track studio with a producer and session musicians.

Nice song.

Possibly a bit more definition to what you are doing in the bass end of the spectrum.

Can't help but hear ...ahem... some Bon Jovi in your voice? I know the music is totally different, but man.. Some of those harmonies, and the way you pronounce the words, sure sounds a lot like Bon Jovi.. (and I enjoy me some Bon Jovi from time to time)

Good stuff!

Thank you all for your feedback unlike the 'man with the donkey' in the Aesop's fable; each piece of advice has not pulled the work in different direction but has really moved the mix forward.

Guitar Zero - Hi/Lo passed every track and cleaned out frequency until it started to changed tone of instrument - some really surgical tight Q on tambourine.

Dream Sound - went back and re-track drums, much tighter I think?

Dave - as per advice have filter and I think (Jinkos noted as well) bass is much more defined. Taken some edge of AG which to the right with Mandolin works well - yes have widened every thing a bit more and agree vox sitting clearer. Don't know Jellyfish but will seek them out.

Maximusbs - No offence taken on drum comments, but the 'boom-cha' is a definite choice and foregrounds the brass band ending.

Thanks for the comparisons - I use to make a living impersonating (I was young and need the money) and, Bon Jovi and Bowie were all in my repertoire.

Well here is the latest version - hope you can hear the improvement I am pretty sure I can and there I was blaming SoundClick for my crap mixes!

Waaaaaaayyyyyy better! Nice job. The bass sounds so much more defined/less muddy. Harsh highs are tamed. Sounds good mate.
