Is this a current project your working on? The amount of time it takes for us to listen to recent projects and offer constructive feedback on them is quite large. Think of a 4 minute tune, played back 4 or 5 times using different EQ settings and different speakers.
Now multiply that times 3 or 4 and we have close to 2 hours of free time that we could spend recording after we spend the time to comment. I try to review projects as a courtesy to the other members of the board that require quick feedback.
If this is a project you are developing, great. But if it's a demo of things to come, the odds are it's gonna get lost after a couple days since it's essentially dead. You aren't working on it, so why should we spend the time.
I hate to be a dick about it and I'd love to hear current work. I can't speak for everyone hear but I critique tunes on a case by case basis. The history or the genre is really of no consequence. One tune at a time and I'll give it my best ear.
