Almost a cross between Bob Dylan and Springstein.

Nice intro....a little hissy, and a tad bass gtr heavy. I like your vocals...but maybe a bit too much reverb. I hear the Dylan reference. With these ~possible~ corrections I mentioned, I would REALLY like this song. This song has a great feel that came from the era I grew up in. You don't hear that much anymore...if at all.

Hey Mikey~!

I liked this tune.

That's because I like Johnny Cash, and it sounds like a great tune for you to pass on to the Man In Black.

The chord changes were good, and the pace was good.

I would have added even more reverb to the vocals in this case, because the song is so barren in its feel.

Good lyrics, I felt the pain, baby...

Nice job for starters!

By the way..If Rosanne Cash married Tom Petty, she would be
Rosanne Petty-CAsh!

HAHAHA

Well, it's all personal preference

since I like the mix generally.
I like the uncluttered, sparse sound.

I like the bass where it is - nothing wrong with a more present. Especially in the 60's 70's era,
I always thought the bass was mixed too low in that time - the Band, Dylan, the singer/songwriter guys, all the Nashville stuff, etc.

The guitars still sounc direct-in, though I like what they are playing.

And I find the vocals a little reverb-heavy, obscuring the words a bit at the beginning of each word or phrase, but I like it at the end of a sound.

Wow Thanks for all the great comments guys. I'll remix it someday soon with ya'lls ideas in mind and see what happens. Eric J I listened to your songs the otherday they were really great. Too bad we don't live closer to each other. I bet we could get some cool tunes together...oh well. Thanks again.
