sounds pretty good, id bring the vocals up some more in the mix...everything else that is going on is drowning it out. id give it a little air, maybe at 2-3db around 16hz. good work

Thanks for the reply. Just a question, did you listen to the hi-fi or lo? Cause I actually think I might of had the vocals a little to high. The low end is a little muddy, but I dont know how to cut by frequencies, like when you say 16hz.

sounds pretty good to me. I also think the vocals can come up.

I was wanting to hear more bass.

I really like the production and the arrangement.
nice job.

i listened to hifi, to cut/boost frequencies you need a graphic eq. just a slight boost to reduce some of the muddiness.

Excellent work! :)

I agree that the vocals could come up a bit, but the rest of the mix is right on.

This has an "Offspring meets Techno" kind of sound that works quite well. ;)

Nice job!

Cool tune. I agree that vocals need to be louder. Also, this sounds like it's meant to be played in a club. For that purpose, and really for most purposes, the drums need to be much more out in front. It seems you concentrated on having the guitars really out front... and they do sound good, but I don't think they should be the predominant element of the mix. You have to get the drums out more. The kick needs to be thumping, the snare needs to be cracking, those need to be the elements of this mix that are moving air. Your vocals sound good, not problems with key or anything, but you sound like you need to develop a little more mic confidence.

Good song, it's catchier on the second listen. A lot like the 80's music I loved when I was a kid.

Charger,

Glad you like it, my toughest thing is drum loop design. Im actually trying to get a little more aggresiveness to the drums, but when I do, I just keep mudding up the bottom even more. I wish I could understand how Hi-hats and rides work. Thanks.

John

I think the drum sounds themselves are fine. Just push that drum fader up a little, or pull down the guitar faders a little. I don't know what software or hardware you use to design your drum loops, but I think you're doing a good job. If you can't get the loops to sound right, try switching up the samples. These samples sound fine though, I just think the drums need to be louder.

Ill try a mix with the guitars down a tad see what you think. Thanks.
