The song in question is "Heart of the Light". I just finished mixing it an hour ago or so. Let me know what you think!

P.S. I know myspace doesn't yield exactly the highest-quality sound, but my server's being an ass so it's my only option. Aside from some less-lazy option, which I refuse to try hah!

Good guitar sound. Not a fan of the vocal style, but its aggressive. Kind of swishy, but it may very well be myspace. All around a good job though.

I like the guitar tones for sure, definitely good. I'm guessing this band has members of Nehemiah, judging by the guitar style and the vocalist, and the fact that they are from Minnesota. I fucking LOVED Nehemiah, so if they do, let me know. =] This band is pretty sweet also.

The only complaint of the mix is the kick to me, doesn't have enough attack. Doesn't really stand out too much for this style of music. Overall the mix is awesome. =]

Thanks guys! I agree the kick needs balls, along with the toms. I didn't compress or scoop them much, so that's a pretty easy fix.

As for the Nehemiah influence, good call! Evan (singer), Nick (drummer), and myself (Guitarist) were all in Nehemiah. Good times :)

Nice dude! That's pretty awesome that you were in that band / this band. Nehemiah was my favorite metal / hardcore band when I listened to a lot of that stuff, still very much in rotation. This band seems to be pretty awesome too, if you plan on touring Vegas anytime hit me up, I could probably set up a show.

I'm too lazy to pop out the liner notes but did you record Asyphyxiation Process / Lenore, or did you guys get those done at a commercial studio? Anyway dude, small world, haha. Peace!

Ever heard Coalesce, they're right up your ally. That mix is just as good as what my bad paid $1200 for in Sioux Falls, SD.

Nice gtr solo at 2:45, and good arranging in the way it all builds to a climax with the added vocal line at 3:10. I like the surprise beginning also, where the first ten seconds are kind of veiled, then it kicks in.

A higher resolution file would be good... lightningmp3.com does any resolution of mp3. Even Soundclick at 128 is noticeably better than MySpace.
