Not bad. The vocals sound a little roomy - like you were way off the mic.
 
I like it, kinda sounds like matchbook romance.
 
Great job, the songwriting is very strong in this piece. Vocals are a bit roomy IMO but still great. I like it a lot!
 
This is a good song. I too think the vocal is a little to far back. I like the guitars and vocal.

It's pretty good. The voice and guitar sound like they're in 2 totally different rooms - maybe try and make them more similar? I'd also consider adding more low end to the acoustic guitar.
 
I love the guitar. I love the violin. They both sound great. The vocals are too distant. Very nice though. I'd re-track the vocals a little closer to a cardioid, and it will warm the vocals up nicely.
 
By the way, what patch did you use to get that violin sound?
 
Yup, agree with all that's been about the vocals. The lyrics are telling the story in this song, so everything else has got to serve the vocals.

The main problem I had was too much of a certain reverb on the end mix. For some reason it came out a lot more on the vocals than the guitar. I believe I have it fixed. Thanks for all the input. The violin patch is from Dimension Pro that came with my Sonar 8 PE.
 
I'm assuming the track you have posted now is the one you've fixed. The vocals are great, and feel like they're in just the right place. Great job.
