Good demo, sound quality is excelent, but far from poor. The song is very 'Greenday', I like Greenday and I like this.

Your voice has a good tone that suits this kind of music too.

Hey man, this stuff is actually good. It's not really the type of music that gets posted around here, so I wouldn't expect too many comments. Luckily, the is (almost) exactly my kind of music. I was heavily into Green Day for a long time, as well as a lot of other GOOD punk bands. Your voice is sort of deep and slightly gruff and it reminds me of those days. "Punk" bands today like New Found Glory and Simple Plan piss me off with their songs about gay shit and their high girly voices. They sound like fags. Your voice is what definately made me like this.

I also like how you kept the song simple (but good) and didn't clutter it with too much crap. It's much better than all the emo pop punk shit thats been surfacing lately.

I think another reason I like this is because it reminds me of me. I used to play in a band like this in high school and it was great. Around age 20 I went through some sort of second puberty and my voice has become incredibly deep. I'm just now starting to write again, and my deep voice and pop punk background is making for some interesting music.

I'd say keep doing what you are doing, but maybe try to distance yourself from all this wussy pop punk garbage thats popular now and create something that is still nice and melodic, but not all gay and girly like Simple Plan or something. Lately I've been heavily influenced by bands that were way before my time like The Who and '70s bands like Grand Funk and Thin Lizzy. They had awesome songs but still maintained this manly awesome presence. I know calling music "girly" or "manly" may sound dumb, but I hope you get the point.

Oh yeah and the mix:

The drums are definately fake. I'd say invest some time into learning how to sequence your drum tracks yourself with high quality samples for ultra flexibilty and realism.

You sang slightly off key in some spots, but I've heard much worse from famous bands (BLINK 182)

The guitar sounded a little weak; try turning down the gain to get rid of fuzz and EQ and slightly compress them to make them PUNCH right out of the speakers.

Definately demo quality.
 
Great song, all of them actually, I agree that you give off a Green Day vibe, which to me isn't a bad thing. I just wanted to know what equiptment you used to record, and those aren't real drums right? If they aren't tell me what they are, please?

The drums arn't real, it's actually a zoom RT 123
equipment I used to recored this is - Fostex vf08
- Alesis 3630 compressor
-Peavy supream 4/12
guitar amp.
Everything was done entirely on the VF08, tracked, mixed,
ect. oh ya, I used an Audix om 3xb mic for the vocals
and the guitar amp.

this recording could sooo benefit from real drums. Damn, I love this kind of stuff. You should send me the tracks and I'll add real drums if you did the music to a click.

Good tune by the way. I enjoyed it. Guitars sound fine to me. Don't listen to the freak Seifer. He obviously has issues.
 
Some great sounding tunes..

Seifer was almost right about a few things. He was wrong when he tried to compare himself with you though. You have more talent than he has. He seems to have a very high opinion of himself as well as many other issues judging by his website.
