New song and video - multiple views

Yesterday, I wrote and recorded this:

It was kind of an impromptu recording session, but I had wanted to experiment with this kind of video for a while. I basically recorded myself playing six parts, used them as thumbnails, and alternate between them in the main window.

As for the music, this is more or less the style I usually play, though not a lot of thought was put into writing this one.....I'd record a part, pick up another instrument and play whatever seemed to go with it. I've been trying lately to get more and more layering involved in my songs, with each piece doing a minimal amount of work so it comes together more smoothly.

Thanks for any feedback you can provide. I'd like to do more videos in this style.

Thank you! I was aware that the song itself didn't offer a whole lot past the first verse, so I was kind of relying on the video to help it a bit. Usually, I take a bit more care into developing songs, but sometimes it's fun to just be spontaneous and get it done quickly.

The bass didn't come out as sharp as I had hoped. I do have some drums towards the middle, but I don't have any to play, so I use some old-ish software to create all my beats. I wanted to keep them minimal for this one. But thanks for the feedback!
