New rock song - mix advice wanted

I tracked and mixed this one today. I don't have a name for it yet; I'm not sure if it really deserves a name. I'd really appreciate mix advice for this one.

That fast cymbal thing comes in a little too loud for the mix. The main lick may be repeated for too many measures at the beginning (don't milk it too much, it IS a good line but make people wait for more of it). Can't really hear any bass in here. Ends pretty fast. Like the tone and attitude of the guitar(s). Drums need to be brought up slightly in the mix. Personally, I would expandon the idea and make a full blown instrumental or write some verses. I produce short songs myself, but this is definitely incomplete.
