Hey all, been quite awhile since I've posted on here. My band recently released a 5 song ep. I recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered it. Tracks were laid down on a zoom livetrak L20. Drums were done with a cpl cheap mic pres (art) and the zooms on board pres and an apex drum mic set. Laid bass and guitars afterwards using a sure sm57 and an apex small condenser mic. Vocals were tracked with an art tube mp and a Rode nt1. Dumped everything into cubase for the mix and mastered with t-racks. Were working on getting our new material together to start recording in the next month or so. We plan on finding a better room to lay drums down in as we used our bass players concrete garage for the 5 song ep, and we're going to rent some better mics and pres.
