I recorded this one last night, after talking to my friend who volunteered down there right after the flood, and returned last week, to help a family his family has adopted, work on rebuilding their home. They owned a home that was pretty much destroyed, and are dirt poor. He said it was so sad to see how little has been done for the poor sections. Walter

No one is interested in helping people who won't help themselves.

With but a few exceptions, most of New Orleans' 'needy' are lazy, ignorant, drug-addicted trash who would rather sit on their asses hands outstretched, waiting for government assistance, all the while bitching about how 'the man' is keeping them down.

In two weeks, a few thousand people reduced an entire city to a ghetto, doing more damage than Katrina could ever do, and now those same leaches wonder why those of us in a position to help, no longer care about what happens way down there in America's septic-tank.

Wrong answer, munch.

This is about music, not about whatever bullshit you are spewing. If you don't want to listen to the song, leave. You've obviously already schooled everyone with your killer knowledge already.

Walter, sounds pretty good to me. Nice harp sound. Good beat to the tune man...enjoyed the listen. :D

Hey Dickhead- piss off.

Walter. I dug your tune. I wish I could have gone down there to help myself.

Hey underdeveloped dickhead....I'm gonna make it my mission in life to track you down and make your avatar my girlfriend.

Don't fuck with a true original, or you'll pay the price for your hasty words!

What does that have to do with the song?

Way to go stereotyping the whole city... Anyway eat shit none of my family ever asked you for anything...

I agree with BigWillz...But that's not the point. This is a music section of a big website. If you have an opinion on a social, political or any other kind of issue that isn't music related, take it to the Cave. Or are you too scared to actually debate the issue...Believe me, you coward, I've been attacked from all directions in the Cave from people that don't agree with me, and I've been out-numbered 100-1 in many cases...But I had the balls to shout out what I believe...Funny, I've never seen you in there....Why is that, spineless???

That's all I'm going to say about that.

As far as the song is concerned...Walter, I always am blown away by the feeling in your music, and the fact that you do everything off the cuff...awesome.

You are about aas dumb as my little brother myhatbroke. What a cocksucker you are. Good job walt

Great tune there, it has such a cool vintage vibe with the tremolo, the vocal, and the harp. Feels like I'm right there in a honky tonk, very successful song!

Oh, and that heckler in the crowd can go screw himself too!

You have more talent than TheBigGiantDickHead will ever have.

These statements are completly false and UnAmerican!

Everyone know I called the Delta Force out to breach the levees in the middle of a hurricane!

That's right! I did it!

hi all: Sorry things got so messy here. I took no offense. I just sing what comes out of my heart, without thought. I have encountered such things countless times, via the net, but rarely, over my 30 + years of doing the same thing live. I Have to say, it sure felt nice to get so much postive vibe from you all! Walter

I am off to my regular sat gig. My drummer, katherine is joining me tonight. I get to leave the drums at home-a much welcomed thing with carrying gear. I will take all the good vibes with me!

Good one Walter. :) The tremolo effect on the gtr is just the right sound for the song IMO. Good overall balance in the track. The backbeat accents have a good feel rhythmically, but might benefit from just a little less in the highs (is it a high hat there? pls excuse my drumset ignorance) on 2 and 4 of each bar. Vocal is clear and rich sounding, well recorded. Nice harp sound.

I think it's the performances that express something genuine that attract the occasional person looking for trouble, so you can consider it an honor in that sense. ;)
